What Boys Want...

In this piece of dating advice for women, we are going to discuss what boys want...

Males. We love them by sometimes they can be so damn confusing! While everyone is unique, the male sex can be roughly broken down into two related (but different) divisions: boys and men.

Boys. How do we understand them? What do they desire?

First off, you need to recognize that it is often a similar list to what girls want from them, just in a completely different order of importance.

Let's learn a little science first... Males and females have different concentrations of specific sex hormones. Females have an abundance of estrogen and males have heaps of testosterone.

One of the many variations that this causes between the sexes is that, while you may really enjoy sex, males truly LOVE it. This plays a major role in what boys want.

leader Now for a tad of evolution... Millions of years ago, males were in constant competition with each other for leadership roles.

Each wanted to become the dominant male within their group (which provided not only high status, but also the ability to make whichever girl/s he wanted his own.)

Those exact instincts of the ancient male still exist today.

Between a boy's high level of testosterone and lasting genetic instincts, what he wants from you is clear...

He wants plenty of sexual contact coupled with the feeling of being needed by you - he wants to be the uncontested leader within the relationship.

On another note, relating back to sexuality, what boys want is a girl that they (along with their friends) find physically attractive.

Why do other people’s opinions matter?

As shallow was it may sound, it is because boys enjoy presenting their partner as a prize or trophy. If no one finds a girl attractive but her boyfriend, he won't feel that his social status nor his perceived dominance has been raised.

Of course, everyone also looks for honesty, kindness and loyalty in a partner - those are universal qualities sought by boys, girls, men and women alike.
