The key point to remember is "know WHO you're dating" and we don't mean know his name and eye color (but don't get us wrong, you should know those details).

We mean that you should know your partner's personality and habits. You are dressing to gain his focus and no one else's.

If your partner is a rocker that dresses in all leather, you may make him feel alienated if you wear a pink sundress on your date.

If your going on a date with an established business man or a graduate student, you may make him feel a little uneasy if you are dressed in your revealing clubbing outfit.

Know your date and you'll know what to wear.

One of the worst ways to start a night is when a man shows up and finds out that your outfit is incompatible with his own. Whether men admit it or not, they pick out their clothes intentionally in hopes of looking good...

Help them by helping yourself.

Find out where you are going for the night and dress accordingly. There is no need to wear your designer clothes to a campfire and there are better options to wear to an Italian restaurant than shorts and a t-shirt.

Being over or under-dressed is uncomfortable for you and your date, so avoid it by deciding on your destination before he picks you up.

Show your figure.

Males are very sexual. The majority think about sex many times a day, therefore chances are that your man will eventually have some "rated R" thoughts about you floating in his head.

It is safe to say that him having fantasies about you is a good thing because if he didn't, it would indicate that he probably isn't attracted to you - which means that you are wasting your time with him.

Dress sexy, but please keep it tasteful. As a woman, you are blessed with a wonderful body of feminine curves. Celebrate them by highlighting them, not by revealing them.

A fitted shirt and a nice pair of jeans is usually enough to get his devoted attention.


Don't dress in a manner that aims to blatantly turn him on. While it will arouse him, it will do so at the cost of your own dignity and his opinion of you.

A simple little motto to remember is "Keep it classy n' hot and he will give you a shot."
